I Felt Guilty Taking Time off.

As an entrepreneur, or for those of you in fast-paced corporate roles—you know the feeling. There’s always another email to send, another meeting to tick off the list, another project to push forward. The to-do list never ends.

But this Tuesday, I stepped away.

I took a half-day off to celebrate my mum’s birthday—dim sum lunch (yes, I preordered the signature Chinese birthday bun 🥰), a bit of shopping (fashion genes run in the family 😎), and, most importantly, being truly present with her ❤️.

And you know what? It was one of the most fulfilling afternoons I’ve had in a long time.

Moments like this remind me: Work is endless. Time with our loved ones is not.

So, if you’re racing to wrap up Q1, planning Q2 events, or chasing that YoY growth target - pause. Prioritize the people who fuel your energy and inspire your work.

When was the last time you truly unplugged to be with the people who matter most?
